Twelve Senses Retreat

Twelve Senses Retreat offers five rooms, each designed around one of the four natural elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. The Fire room includes a gas fireplace and a wool mattress with a topper. The Water room is located upstairs near the rooftop terrace and has a balcony with a hammock.

The hotel provides access to certified health practitioners for personalized treatments, including sound-bowl healing and intuitive sessions. Guests can book private yoga classes and wellness appointments such as massages. On-site facilities include a sauna, a hot tub, and a rooftop patio with a fire pit and ocean views.

Breakfast is complimentary and includes continental, American, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, with dishes prepared by a French chef. All breakfast items are made with organic and locally-sourced ingredients and delivered to guests' rooms. The hotel also offers cooking classes on request.

The retreat is located less than 2 miles from Swami's State Beach and downtown Encinitas, near Meditation Gardens. The building is constructed with sustainable materials and practices, including recycled corrugated leather and felted wall panels.
